Shipping and Returns

Domestic Shipping

All orders under or equal to £40.00 (excluding VAT) for delivery in the UK will be subject to a charge of £2.95 Incl VAT, unless there is a valid promotion on delivery costs.

All orders over £40.00 (excluding VAT) for delivery in the UK will not be subject to any carriage or packing charge.

Extra-large items and heavy items over 20kg may incur a delivery surcharge. If in the rare occasion this applies, we shall contact you before your order is processed to allow you change or cancel the order.

These charges are for deliveries to mainland UK only, any orders requiring shipping to other parts of the UK, including Northern Ireland and some areas of Scotland, will be subject to a delivery surcharge regardless of the value of the order. This surcharge is dependent on the shipping address.

Unless you tell us you wish to collect the goods, we shall endeavour to deliver the goods ordered, as soon as reasonably practical. We shall notify you by e-mail when your goods have been despatched.

All deliveries are subcontracted to a third-party delivery company.

International shipping:

International shipping is possible, and a baseline cost has been added for different countries in the world. However due to such variables as weight dimension, destination and service, the actual cost of delivery can really vary quite dramatically and can be more or less than the default amount initially given. Therefore, we will usually contact the customer to provide a personal quote, tailored to each customer’s specific requirements prior to finalizing their order; all that we ask is for the customer to cover the cost of delivery.

Other Key Information

All quoted delivery dates and times are estimates and although we will try our best to meet them we will not be responsible if we are unable to do so. We will let you know if we cannot deliver your products within 30 days of when we receive your payment and will give you the option to either wait for the Products or cancel your order and receive a full refund.

We cannot be held responsible for any third-party costs or charges which you incur due to non-delivery of an order, or orders that have not been checked on delivery.

We are not able to process orders or deliver on UK Bank Holidays and Sundays. All orders will be delivered to a single address.

To minimise inconvenience we will, wherever possible, try to make one single delivery to you. This means that if your order contains a mix of products with different delivery lead times, the longest lead time will apply to the whole order. When you place an order containing a mix of products including 'Supplier Delivered' items, one single delivery will not be possible as 'Supplier Delivered' products are delivered direct from the supplier.

All deliveries must be received and signed for by a person over the age of 18. If no-one is available to take the delivery, we will leave details at the address to rearrange delivery. We may need to make an additional handling charge for redelivery. Should no-one be available to take the redelivery we may cancel the order and refund your money, excluding any delivery charges.

Risk of loss and damage in the Products will pass to you on the date when the Products are delivered or on the date on which we make our first attempt to deliver them to you.

Back Orders: If for any reason we are unable to fulfil your order in full or in part we shall deem this as a back-order item and inform you by e-mail for your further instructions. You shall in any case have the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.

Once you have received the goods and London Tools Ltd has received full payment for the goods the buyer shall become the owner of the goods.

Returns and Refunds

In the event that goods are to be returned back to our premises you must obtain a returns number by contacting us by phone: 020 8672 1086 or e-mail: info@londontools.co.uk

Please note that NO refund will be made unless an official returns number is obtained from London Tools Ltd . This number must be clearly stated on the exterior of the parcel in which the goods are returned.

Non-delivery or Error claims

If you (the buyer) do-not receive goods that have been despatched, or incorrect quantities or incorrect goods have been received then you must notify London Tools Ltd . in writing or e-mail within 7 working days of our e-mail notification to you that the goods have been despatched.

We may also provide a telephone number to our courier for the purposes of contacting you in the unlikely event that they have difficulty in finding you or if there is any other delivery problem. We never cold call and only use the telephone numbers provided to resolve problems with orders or respond to queries.

Cancellation Rights

You can cancel any on-line order and receive a full refund (including standard delivery charges) by mailing info@londontools.co.uk (including order number, post code and telephone number) at any time before the Product is dispatched.

Please note that if you cancel an order after the Product has been delivered, you will be responsible for returning the Product to us at your cost and within 14 days of the cancellation of your order. For information regarding the return of Products please see below.

How to Return a Product

If you wish to return a Product after it has been delivered, you will be responsible for returning the Product to us at your cost.

If you are returning any item(s), which were sent according to your order and is NOT faulty or damaged then London Tools Ltd . requires that the item is returned back to us in a re-saleable condition. You (the buyer) shall meet the cost and risk of returning the item(s) back to our premises. London Tools Ltd. shall make a restocking charge of 10% of the original value of the item(s) being returned and retain the shipping charge incurred to send the goods out.

The above shall be carried out unless we are advised that you wish to receive replacement goods for the faulty or damaged returns.

Faulty or Damaged Products

In the unlikely event that a delivered product is faulty or damaged, we will exchange it or provide you with a refund, as long as we are notified of the product's fault within 14 days of it being delivered to you.

You may return any item(s), delivered to you within 14 days of receipt if they are faulty or damaged, in their original packing. London Tools Ltd requires that you (the buyer) shall meet the cost and risk of returning the item(s) to us, which we shall reimburse once we have received the item(s) back at our premises.
